Fat Burning Soup

1 lb. Carrots

1 lb. Green beans

6 large onions

2 green peppers

1 head of cabbage

1 head of celery

4 X 6 oz cans of tomato juice

2 cans of tomatoes

2 cans of Campbell's beef broth

A heaped teaspoon of Marmite

Dice vegetables (small). Cover with water, bring to the boil for 10 mins. simmer until vegetables are tender. Season with salt, pepper, spices, herbs etc.

Day - 1. All fruits except bananas. Cantalope & watermelon are lower in calories than other fruits. Eat only the soup & fruits. For drinks - unsweatened tea, cranberry or water.

Day - 2. All vegetables. Eat as much as possible. If possible eat green leafy vegetables. No dry beans, peas or corn. Eat with the soup at dinner a large baked potato and butter. Do not eat any fruit.

Day - 3. Eat all the soup, fruit and vegetables you want. Do not have a baked potato.

Day - 4. Bananas and skimmed milk. Eat as many as 3 bananas and drink as many glasses of water as you can on this day along with the soup. Bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates as is the milk. On this particular day your body will need the potassium, carbohydrates, calcium and proteins to lessen your craving for sweets.

Day - 5. Beef and tomatoes. You may have 10-20 ounces of beef, a can of tomatoes or as many as 6 fresh tomatoes this day. Try to drink atleast 6-8 glasses of water on this day to wash away the uric acid in your body. Eat the soup atleast once on this day.

Day - 6. Beef and vegetables. Eat as much beef and vegetables as you desire. You can have 2-3 steaks with green leafy vegetables, but no baked potato. Eat the soup at least once on this day.

Day - 7. Brown rice, unsweatened fruit juice and vegetables, as much as you want- eat as much as possible. Eat the soup atleast once on this day.

DEFINITE NO NO's :- Bread, alcohol, carbonated drinks (including diet drinks). Stick with water, unsweatened tea, black coffee, unsweetened fruit juice, cranberry juice and skimmed milk. NO FRIED FOODS OR BREAD.

OPTIONS You can eat broiled or baked chicken instead of beef (absolutely no skin on the chicken) You can also substitute broiled fish or beef on one of these days.

NOTES At the end of the seventh day if you have not cheated you will have lost 10 - 17 pounds. If you have lost more than 13 pounds stay off the diet before resuming the diet again from day one. This 7 day eating plan can be used as often as you like. It will detoxify and provide a feeling of well being. The regime is fast, fat burning and uses more calories than you consume. Since alcohol will not be consumed during the regime, go off the diet for atleas 24 hours prior to any alcohol intake. Since bowel movements will change after a few days, eat a cup of bran or fibre. Although you can drink black coffee with the diet you may find after the third day you do not need the caffeine. The basic fat burning soup can be eaten at any time you feel hungry - eat as much as you wish - the more you eat, the more you lose.
